Hey there!
This blog is a portfolio of sorts and (at least for now) doesn’t really serve any other purpose than showing off some of the programs I wrote over the last few years and maybe posting some tools you might find to be useful, too.
Seeing as you’ve clicked on the about page, I assume you’re interested in reading some stuff about me:
- My name is David Lehn, but most people just call me Dave. You may do that, too. Only if you want to, of course.
- I just finished my Game Design B. Sc. degree with a specialization in Game Programming, so a lot of the stuff I post here is related to my class work.
- I started programming back in 2006, when we had our first programming lessons at school. Since I found the programming syllabus at our school to be somewhat unsatisfactory, I started to pursue programming as a hobby. Starting with simple programs created in Turbo Pascal, I worked my way up to more modern languages like Object Pascal and C++, always learning new concepts as I went along.
- So now I’m a programmer. I write programs. I have found C++ to be my absolute favorite language, thanks to the incredible amount of control and freedom it gives to programmers as well as its concise syntax.
- Of course I’m also familiar with a lot of other languages, including: C, C#, Object Pascal/Delphi, Java, ActionScript 2/3, UnrealScript and some others.
- My main focus lies on tools and engine development. Also some graphics programming, because it looks nice.
- Things I like:
- Programming
- Video Games
- Programming video games
- Long walks in the… wait a moment. No, that sounds wrong. Forget about that.
- I also have a page on deviantART where you can look at a few pretty pictures created by yours truly.
- That’s it, I don’t know what else to tell you. If you feel like I’ve missed something, feel free to use the contact form.
